The pleasant town, with its pretty thatched cottages, contains many fine Georgian buildings together with several specialist shops and galleries and makes an ideal base for exploring The Heart of England and Stratford.

Stratford upon Avon: A full day visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, steeped in culture and history. Set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside, on the banks of the river Avon.
